There is a bug in the app which wipes out added recipes if your phone dies or is restarted. Also, you cant change the date when inputting a batch. So when I reloaded my wiped out recipes and batches, it defaulted the date to the current date. When the bugs are worked out, this will be THE soap app to use.

Was having no problems with this app until after latest update-now, batch notes are being deleted (Ive lost 4 so far, and they kept being deleted even after entering the info 2-3 times) and new recipes not being saved (again, after being entered multiple times). This info is being lost despite hitting all of the "done" buttons after entering new information. Ive found the app to be very helpful up to this point, but I am extremely frustrated that Ive lost my notations. Fortunately, I have hard copy notes of my recent batches, but now Im worried more info will be lost without my knowing until it is too late.

This is a very useful app with a nice interface. The batch curing reminder is a nice feature however I wish it was possible to change the batch date. The batch is defaulted to the current date so if you forget to enter it in when created, or want to put in batches made before purchasing the app, you are out of luck. Other than that one tiny feature its a great app and worth the purchase.

This keeps loosening my saved recipes When they fix this will be a nice app also wish they would link the site for ordering supplys and mabey even get recipes from the site

I absolutely LOVE this app. I can really keep track of each individual batch, take pics and make notes for reference. The negatives. I have an iPhone and an iPad, the recipes dont cross over to each device. If I put one batch on my iPhone, I have to enter again into my iPad... With the use of the iCloud, this shouldnt be an issue. Next, if I want to enter a batch made a few days before, it only uses the date I opened a new batch entry, But, theres always room for improvement. I really hope that BB brings this app into the cloud of the 21st century. And another thing. It is BB based. Why dont they include BB quick mix, swirl mix or Lotof lather quick mix?

Its ok at this point. I hope it gets better and better because I love BB products. If we have choice of oz to gram, it would be more global. I could not find how to delete recipe..

Updated and my recipe library is gone:( Also, not as easy to use on iPhone as it used to be. I cannot get the batch size to change. Dissapointed-

I would love to have a solid iPad app for soaping. This one isnt ready for prime time, unfortunately. Even after multiple updates, it crashes often with information gone when I restart. It also needs more features, like metric weights and measures, resizing batches, water discount, and similar. Im hopeful that it will improve, but right now, it isnt my go-to. Too many bugs.

I wish they would fix it....would be fun to document my soaps in an app format.

This app is super useful but once I close the app all of the recipes I created and saved disappear. =o(

Honestly this app has nothing to offer- its so difficult/impossible to save your recipes, none the less share them- the whole reason I got the app! Unnecessary and frustrating with no customer support options, Ive never been so frustrated with a 2.99 purchase since a McDonalds Big Mac five years ago!

Bramble Berrys products are top notch, but like their website, which is very difficult to navigate, this app is poorly designed and a complete waste of money. I really hope the make some serious updates to it, as I was so excited at the idea of it. But as of right now, its poorly designed and really unusable.

don’t waist your money,the app crashes, the does not know what date it is, it does not come with a help file. Basically, use your online calculators you will be less frustrated.

This used to be my favorite app to make soap. Now, half of it is broken. You cant add notes. You cant add pictures. It fails to save. Worthless the way it is. Please fix!!

Will you guys put out an app for melt & pour soap like yall dis with the CP. The CP App doesnt help me since we do MPs. Thanks!

Save your money and dont buy this app-- it offers nothing more than a link to the Bramble Berry websites blog and and of course their shopping cart. If you like to visit the site just create a bookmark in Safari.

Works well for for remembering if you did ________ when you made the ________ recipe. Cant wait to see what features will be added to the next version.

I dont mind the blog or the links to the Bramble Berry store at all - its my choice to click or not to click. I do miss the feature that used to be on this app that would tell you the total ounces of all the oils, water, and lye, etc. I know I can add all this up but it was really nice when it would automatically report it. Overall a great app!

I use this app to save and resize recipes. It works great! Wish there was a way to choose whether you want grams or ounces for each recipe rather than going to settings and choosing for the whole app. Also wish the lye concentration percentage was adjustable. (Maybe there is and I just dont know about it). Anyway, I brambleberry should promote their link on the app! They deserve it!
